Linda Mae (Loudermilk-McDonald) Thacker, wife of the late Charles (Gene) Thacker of Noel, Missouri was called to Heaven on Friday, August 10, 2018 after a long battle of cancer. Linda entered this life on November 26, 1952 in Torrence, California to the late Betty Jean and Thomas (Buddy) William McDonald. Linda was the third born of eight children growing up in Carson, California.
January 24th 1984 Linda Joined Gene's hand in marriage, moving to Noel, Missouri in 1991, where Linda helped her husband with his body shop. She enjoyed the summer season with all the plants and flowers. Linda spent her winters sewing, she made Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking and decorating for all the holidays of the year. She was a very giving woman that was often called "Mom" by many. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Thacker; one brother, Tom McDonald and a nephew, Jason Davies.
Linda is survived by her brothers, William Loudermilk of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Joe McDonald of Redmond, Utah, Robert McDonald of Noel, Missouri and Mark McDonald of Lancaster, California; sisters, Beverly Flory of Lancaster, California and Delta Taylor of Seligman, Missouri; children, Robert Faulkner of Noel, Missouri, Johnathan Faulkner of Noel, Missouri Charles Thacker, Jr. of Noel, Missouri, Jimmy Thacker of Southwest City, Missouri, Lorrene Faulkner of Noel, Missouri, Lisa Cole of Noel, Missouri, Jennifer Hutchinson of Forsythe, Missouri and Amanda Cisneros of Neosho, Missouri , 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss Linda.
Funeral services for Linda will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Charles Thacker and Dr. Larry Crawford will officiate. Burial will follow in the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
