Jerry Samuel McGuirk, age 78, Webb City, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born December 16, 1939 in Alba, Mo to the late Alexander Henderson McGuirk and Edna M. Cooley McGuirk.
Jerry owned and operated his own roofing company.
He married Phyllis Ann Miller on June 28, 1958 in Galena, KS. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2007.
In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by his step-father, George Murphy; two brothers, John and Delbert McGuirk; four sons, Charles, Johnny, Robert, and Jerry McGuirk, Jr.; two grandsons, Jarrod and Brian McGuirk; and two granddaughters, Chassey Steele and Dondi McGuirk.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy McGuirk, Carthage, and Lloyd McGuirk and wife, Brenda, Columbus, Kansas; one daughter, Cindy McGuirk, Joplin; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services are planned for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Leonard Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
