Frances Joan Newell, 77, entered into rest at the McDonald County Nursing Center in Anderson, MO on August 16, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Born January 12, 1941 in Olathe, KS to Harvey and Betty (Borders) Bergman, Frances lived in Kansas before moving to Anderson, MO in 1986. She had previously worked as a CNA in nursing homes and loved to cook.
Frances is survived by her son, Ronald Newell of Anderson, MO; her daughter, Rhonda Canon of Gravette, AR; an uncle, Gary Borders of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Glenna Hunley of Manchester, TN; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
