(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Ricky Dean Mitchell, of Lockwood, MO, departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the age of 66.
He was born on November 8, 1959 in Kansas City, KS to Troy Eugene and Ruby Katherine (Venable) Mitchell. Ricky was united in marriage to Lonna Marylynn Brady. He had worked a T.V. repairman, concrete finisher, and as a plumber. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Ricky was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Troy and Katherine Mitchell; one brother, Dennis Mitchell; one sister, Belinda Fuller; and one great-grandchild, Jameson Wolf.
Survivors include his wife, Lonna Mitchell of the home; one daughter, Amy Bellomy and husband Michael of Brooksville, FL; one brother, Troy Mitchell Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX; two sisters, Rhonda Anderson of Ft. Scott, KS, and Sherry Fuller of Marion, MO; two grandchildren, Katlyn Wolf of Brooksville, FL, and Alyssa Amundsen of Brooksville, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Avery Wolf and Grayson Wolf.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
