Patricia R. Carver, age 82, Loma Linda, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at her home.
Patricia was born June 16, 1934 in Joplin, Missouri, daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth McCann. She was a lifelong resident of the Joplin area, and was co-owner/operator of Dean's Furniture/Flea Market in Carthage for many years. She enjoyed bowling, and traveling with her husband, Dean Carver, whom she has been with since 1973.
In addition to her husband, Dean, she is survived by her sons, Billy Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bob Allen of Fort Worth, Texas, and David Allen of Loma Linda; daughters, Leah Groom and husband Bobby and Kristy Buck and husband Mike all of Carthage; sister, Virginia Young of Hurst, Texas; best friend, Nancy St. Clair of Joplin; 31 grand and great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life for Patricia on Saturday, November12, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Club 1201 in Joplin.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
