Andy Wilson

Andy LeRoy Wilson, age 71, of Neosho, Missouri passed away at 4:02 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home, with family by his side. He was born August 6, 1950, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to the late Andrew Jackson and Juanita Sue (Robinson) Wilson. Andy was a 1968 graduate of Caney Valley High School in Caney, Kansas and studied Computer engineering at Oklahoma State University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 through 1975.

Andy worked as an Information Technology (IT) Technician for a computer company. He traveled the states repairing computers and later installing major computer systems for large corporations.

On May 29, 1982, Andy married Joycelind (Morse) in Elk City, Kansas. After retiring they moved to the Neosho community to be near family. Along with fiddling on the computer, Andy was often seen in his overalls and hat on his tractor or messing around in his shop.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Joycelind of the home; one son, Craig Beemer and his wife, Tracy, of Elmer, Missouri; his daughter, Kelli Phebus and her husband, Doug, of Seneca, Missouri; two sisters, Donna Pierce and her husband, Tom, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Sandra Bressie and her husband, Keith, of Joplin, Missouri; three grandchildren, two great-granddaughters.

Hs parents and granddaughter, Clarissa preceded him in death.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
