(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Debra Louis (Banks) Land, 63 of Neosho, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho.
Debra was born July 25, 1958, in Barry County to Floyd and Hattie (Hendrix)Banks. She grew up in the Jane and Anderson area. She worked at Crowder Industries for 40 years.
Debra married Randy Land on June 20, 1980, in Anderson, MO. She and Randy lived in Anderson until moving to Medicalodge.
Debra was preceded in death by her husband Randy on April 8, 2019, her parents, two brothers; Freddie and Joe Banks and three sisters; Imogene Delmont, Virginia Akehurst and Glenda Lowe.
Debra is survived by sisters; Leta Miller and husband Wayne of Clarksville, TN, LaVon O’Brien of Bella Vista, AR, Carolyn Wilmoth and husband Earl of Cleveland, TX, Trudy Hill and husband Carlos of Cypress, TX as well as host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She loved her family and friends and never wanted anyone mad at her. A special thank you to all her caregivers, thanks to all for loving our Debbie She was Special.
Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Louis Land will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, MO with Pastor Fred Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, MO.
Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers will be Greg Akehurst, Luke Akehurst, Tyler Ayotte, Ronnie Mitchell, Carlos Hill, and Earl Wilmoth. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
