Dale Bachtold

Mr. Dale Bachtold, 77, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center.

Dale was born on October 9, 1944 in Sarcoxie to the union of the late Albert Leander and Edna Sultana (Coates) Bachtold. He was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. 

He retired from Day and Zimmermann Ammunition Plant in Parsons, Kansas after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sarcoxie. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle; as well as spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, George Gurley.

Dale is survived by his sister, Ruth Gurley, of Sarcoxie; two nephews, Erik Richard Gurley, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jared Dale Gurley of Sarcoxie and Gina Lynne Revel, of Leawood, Kansas; great-nieces, Cailyn Revel and Zoe Gurley; cousin, Jeannine Wormington, of Sarcoxie; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside memorial services for Mr. Bachtold are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Harvey Cemetery with Pastor James Yost officiating. In-lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Carthage Humane Society. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website www.housh-goodwinfuneralhome.com. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
