(From Ozark Funeral Home)Daniel Eugene Skaggs, 66, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas.
Daniel entered this life on March 13, 1956 in Noel, Missouri, born in a car in front of the Ozark Funeral Home, to the late Joseph and Helen (Short) Skaggs.
He married Patricia Lorinne Morgan on July 1, 1977 in Pineville, Missouri. Daniel worked for Talbot Industries in Neosho, Missouri. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and coins. Daniel loved his “Homestead Farm” where he raised chickens and rabbits.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patti” Skaggs of the home; four sons, Travis Wayne Skaggs of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jeremy Dan Skaggs of Southwest City, Missouri, Patrick Eugene Skaggs of Terre Haute, Indiana, Scotty James Skaggs of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Samuel Skaggs of Noel, Missouri, William Skaggs of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Serenity, Aubrey, Justin, Danny, Katherine, Hayden, Spencer, Hailey, Harley and Rickey; great grandchild, Everleigh; as well as a host of other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Daniel.
Funeral service for Daniel will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor George Frye will officiate. Those honoring Daniel’s life by serving as pallbearers are his sons, Travis, Jeremy, Patrick and Scotty. Burial will follow the service in the Butler Creek cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at this time.
