(From White Funeral Home)Millie Vonciel Larson, age 84, of Seligman, Missouri, went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 30, 2022, at Nixa Nursing and Rehab in Nixa, Missouri. Daughter of Aubrey and Gertie (Pollard) Stone, Millie was born on January 7, 1938, in Coats, North Carolina.
In 1954, she married James Ervin Laron in South Carolina, and together they built a fulfilling and happy life until his passing on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Millie enjoyed watching soap operas and drinking diet Pepsi, but her greatest joy came from watching her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Millie was a good Christian woman who loved and believed in God with all her heart, she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her five children, Daniel Larson, of Seligman, Rodney Larson, of Washburn, Roger Larson of Pineville, Missouri, Jody Larson and his wife Nancy, of Cassville, and Jason Larson, and his wife Christie, of Nixa, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy (Stone) Arnold, of Raleigh, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Aubrey and Gertie (Pollard) Stone, and husband, James Ervin Larson, Millie was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Larson; three brothers, Bruce Stone, Larry Stone, and Donnie Stone; and one sister, Violene Matthews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the New Salem Baptist Church in Seligman.
A private family burial will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
