(From Parker Mortuary)Thomas Riley Hardee, age 65, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Mercy of Joplin.
Tom was born October 12, 1956 in Boise, Idaho, son of the late James Monroe Hardee and Mary Juanita (Randall) Hardee. His family moved to Webb City where he attended school before joining the United States Army.
After his service he moved to the Carolinas where he worked several jobs, mainly in construction. He was a “jack of all trades”, and a very talented wood worker. He returned to the Joplin area four years ago. He loved spending time with family telling stories of the past. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Joanne Rivette and husband Joe of Joplin, brothers, Bruce Randall Hardee of Oronogo and James Kevin Hardee of Joplin; several nieces and nephews, and a cousin, Janice Andress of Joplin.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
Memorial service will be held at a later date by family.
