(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Jacquelyn “Jackie” K. Boothe, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri. Jackie was born November 13, 1951 in Eads, Colorado to Archie Lee Sickelbower and Viola Smotherman.
Jackie was a lifelong entrepreneur that explored many fields, and spent most of her career running an interior design business in Joplin and Carthage with her husband, Dennis. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, embroidery and cooking.
Jackie was united in marriage to Dennis H. Boothe on August 23, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; he survives.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Dennis; five sons, Jason Turner (Julie) of Carl Junction, Missouri, Joshua Boothe (LaLanya) of Joplin, Missouri, Jason Boothe of Carthage, Missouri, Justin Boothe of Green Valley, Missouri, and Jermey Boothe (Becky) of Carthage, Missouri; one daughter, Andrea Angel of Joplin, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Fayetta Wynn and Cheryl Grewell.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Viola Sickelbower; and one sister, Lynette Rowe.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
