(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Debra Powell, 68, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.
Debra entered this life on December 28, 1953 in Joplin, Missouri, the birthday she shared with her husband. She married Steve Powell on October 14, 1972 in Noel, Missouri. She was a homemaker; member of the Noel Woman’s Club and Pandora Club. Debra enjoyed gardening and crafts. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Noel, Missouri.
Debra is survived by a son, Travis Powell and wife, Tammy of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter, Stephanie Powell of Noel, Missouri; sister, JoAnn Golden of Seneca, Missouri; a niece, Katherine White of Grandview, Missouri; grandchildren, Brett Stark, Carrie Ann Sergeant, Sara Kate Sergeant; her beloved dogs, Abby and Zolly; as well as a host of other family, friends and neighbors.
Memorial service for Debra will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Noel, Missouri. Pastor Sherie Wymore will officiate.
Memorial contributions in memory of Debra are being directed to the United Methodist Church in Noel, Missouri.
