(From Ozark Funeral Home)Sandi Jean Brooner, 66, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Monday afternoon, May 1, 2023, at McDonald County Living Center after months of failing health.
Sandi entered this life on October 28, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of the late Paul and Doris (Divine) Killion. She was raised and attended school in Kansas City.
She moved to Noel, Missouri, in 1985, where she worked nearly thirty years in human resources at Tyson Foods. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and was a devoted caregiver to her father Paul for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Brooner on November 5, 2016; and a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Wayne Hoy.
Sandi is survived by her two sons, Scott Powell of Noel and Chris Powell and wife, Kim, of Moyock, North Carolina; five grandchildren; a niece and nephew, Wendy Collins and Jeremy Hoy both of Noel; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Cecil Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Butler Creek Cemetery.
Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Chris Powell, Jeremy Hoy, Mike Webb, Steven James, Jonathon Collins and Jimmy Killion. The family will receive friends on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri.
