(From White Funeral Home)Glenn Rose, age 72, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Arkansas.
Mr. Rose, son of Johnny James and Isabell (Cargile) Rose, was born on September 27,1950, in Washburn, Missouri. He was a 1968 graduate of Southwest High School in Washburn.
On June 19,1970, Glenn was united in marriage to Drucie Treadwell, in Seligman, Missouri; she survives. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church in Washburn. Glenn owned and operated G & D Trucking, loved raising quarter horses and traveling with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Drucie of 52 years; one brother, Johnnie Lee Rose and his wife Sue, of Republic, Missouri; two sisters, Lola Vanzandt and her husband Carroll, of Seligman, Missouri, and Lula Patrick, of Rogers, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law, Tom Treadwell and his wife Karen, of Neosho, Missouri, Donnie Treadwell and his wife Gayla, of Washburn, Missouri; four sisters-in-law, Mary Rose, Ronnie Rose, Janet Rose, and Brenda Treadwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Sam, Charles Ronald "Doc", JD, and Russell, one sister-in-law Helen Rose, and one brother-in-law, David Treadwell.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, with Pastor Chuck Sackman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Helping Hands Hospice & In Home Care, Cassville, Missouri or Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Arkansas, and entrusted to White Funeral Home.
