(From Clark Funeral Home)Leola Irene (Lahman) Lindahl, age 88, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Leola was born November 5, 1934 in Stella, Missouri to Lorene B. Embrey Lahman and Lawrence S. Lahman.
Leola retired after serving honorably as a Chief Select in the United States Navy. She worked for the City of Wichita/Sedgwick County Health Department as a nurse supervising the Childcare licensing program and retired in 1996.
Leola is survived by her son Edward E. Lindahl; grandchildren Kim Wagner (Aaron), Jeremy Lindahl, and Brandy Lindahl; and great grandchildren Jennifer, Sean, Christina and Hannah; also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Lahman.
Leola was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence S. Lahman; mother, Lorene B. Embrey Lahman; brother's Leonard Lahman and Leon Lahman; and grandchildren, Nancy and Manasseh.
A Celebration of Life service for Leola will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206.
Graveside services will be held on June 1, 2023, at 3 pm at the Dice Cemetery, Fairview, Missouri.
