Terry Maneval

Terry Vaughn Maneval, 75, Jasper, Missouri, passed away Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023, at his home with family by his side. 

Terry was born March 22, 1948, in Lamar, Missouri, the son of the late Vaughn Maneval and Genevieve (Moreen) Maneval. He was a 1966 graduate of Jasper High School, and then received his associate degree in refrigeration and air conditioning from Pittsburg State University. He was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. 

Terry married Joyce Pugh on October 3, 1970, at the Jasper Methodist Church, Jasper, Missouri. He was owner/operator of Maneval, Inc. in Jasper, Missouri, until his retirement. 

He was a member of Faith Life Worship Center, Carthage, Missouri. Terry loved music and collected musical equipment, but most of all, loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Maneval; two sons, Derek Maneval (Robyn), Carthage, Missouri, and Carson Maneval, Jasper, Missouri; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Huron (Brendon), Olivia Maneval, Lydia Maneval, Andrew Maneval, and Jonathan Maneval; three great-granddaughters; and many extended family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ken Maneval and Lew Maneval.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Monday, June 5, 2023, at Faith Life Worship Center, Carthage, Missouri. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Jasper, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm, Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage, Missouri.
