(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mr. Wayne Eugene Cummings, 81, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life peacefully on Monday morning, May 22, 2023, after a brief illness.
Wayne entered this life on July 22, 1941, in rural Goodman, Missouri, son of the late Charlie and Grace (Divine) Cummings. He was an electrician by trade and a lifelong resident of Pineville, Missouri. For several years, he owned and operated Pineville Community Auctions.
He enjoyed mowing his yard, spending time with his grandchildren and caring for his beloved goat, Spook. Wayne was a member of Whittenburg Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Charlie and D.J. Cummings and Lonnie Dale Michael; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Denny; and two sisters, Betty Reynolds and Phyllis Corrington.
Wayne is survived by his two sons, Vernon Cummings and wife, Darla, of Anderson and Darrien Cummings of West Fork, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Summer Denny (Johnny Arnett), Shelby Pringle (Coty), John Cummings (Jamie), Jerrid Cummings (Jennifer), Dillon Cummings, Justin Thacker, Destiny Cummings and Gracie Cummings; several great grandchildren; four sisters, Beulah Hall of Goodman, Pearl Napier of Texas, Marilyn Miller of Seneca and Carolyn Williams of Spring Forest, Arkansas; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow at Banner Cemetery.
