Dakota Patton

Dakota A. Patton, 23, of Parsons, passed away unexpectedly.

He was born on May 28, 1999 in Parsons to Greg and Melissa (Sharbutt) Patton. Dakota grew up in Parsons and graduated from Parsons High School in 2018.

Dakota was an avid outdoors man; he loved to hunt, fish, horseback riding and riding four wheelers. He was an animal lover, especially his dogs. Dakota was a horse trainer and in his younger years participated in 4-H where he received many awards with his horses and other animals.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Patton of Parsons; his father, Greg Patton (Debbie) of Parsons; brothers, Derek Patton of Parsons and Patrick Patton (Angeliah Stover) of Parsons; sister, Andrea Johnson of New Mexico.

The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be at a later date in Springhill Cemetery.
