(From Parker Mortuary)Shadow Antoinette Dickerson, age 33, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Joplin after a sudden illness.
Shadow was born January 1, 1990 in Tulsa, OK, daughter of the late Anthony LeRoy Dickerson and Vanessa Sue (McPherson) Riley of Joplin.
Shadow attended school in Joplin, and worked several jobs over the years, mainly working as a cashier. She was a talented artist, and enjoyed drawing, but her main love was spending time with family, especially her children. She will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her mother, Vanessa Riley of Joplin; children, Jesus Elizondo of Cabool, MO, Jasmine Elizondo and Janessa Elizondo both of Joplin; brothers, Beau Riley, Rock Riley, and Phoenix Dickerson all of Joplin; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Jensen, Bellamy, Pharoah, Emmy, Arabelle, Anthony, and Brooklyn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
