(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Elbert Larry Eagan, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO at the age of 77.
He was born on May 24, 1945 in Caldwell, AR to Elbert and Nancy Loretta (Lentz) Eagan. Larry graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, MO, and received an Associate Degree in Mathematics from Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, MO. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Larry was united in marriage to Marcia Ann Tischinski on May 15, 1965 in North Kansas City, MO.
He worked as a Corporate Safety Director. Larry was a talented musician and singer. He was a member of numerous bands throughout his life, and loved attending music jam sessions. Larry enjoyed playing his guitar on his back porch. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., and the D.A.V. Larry was also a lifelong scouter, and member of the Tribe Mic-O-Say.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Elbert and Loretta Eagan; and his sister, Diana Eagan.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Eagan of the home; his son, Larry Eagan and wife Jackie of Olathe, KS; four brothers, John Eagan of Bolivar, MO, Joe Eagan of Greenfield, MO, Roy Eagan of Greenfield, MO, and Steve Eagan of Greenfield, MO; and nine grandchildren.
