(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Linda Ann Whitteck, age 65, passed away May 25, 2023, in Webb City, Missouri after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Linda was born April 11, 1958, in Carthage, MO. She was the daughter of Raymond W. Cash and Ann M. (Hagen) Cash.
She graduated from Parkwood High School in 1976. In 1980, she graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she majored in Art and Minored in History.
Linda married Mark C. Whitteck on June 04, 1993 in Blue Springs, MO. During their union they welcomed three children: Joel Hoyt, Jason Hoyt, and Jesse Whitteck.
Linda spent her career as an insurance and investment representative. She was employed at Kansas City Life Home Office. She successfully obtained her LOMA Designation, FLMI and ACS, and her Series 6 Securities License. Linda was, also, a substitute teacher at Webb City School and Joplin Schools. She attended the Leadership Joplin 2009 program.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Ann Cash, and her brother, Gary Cash.
Linda is survived by her husband, Mark Whitteck of Webb City, Mo; sons, Joel (Jacqui) Hoyt of Joplin, Mo, Jason Hoyt of Lees Summit, Mo, and Jesse (Raven) Whitteck of Jacquin, Tx; five grandchildren: Kayla, Lily, Caleb, Allie, and Ana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to HOPE 4 You Breast Cancer Foundation in care of the mortuary.
