(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)Steven Patrick Morgan, age 59, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Cox Hospital in Monett, Missouri. He was born April 8, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of the late Ronald and Karen (Spangler) Morgan.
Steven was a 1982 graduate of McDonald County High School in Anderson, Missouri and was a welder for Play Power Equipment in Monett, Missouri.
He enjoyed bowling, having bowled two 300 games, and had one 800 series. He LOVED the Kansas City Chiefs! He was extremely excited that he got to witness their last two Super Bowl wins! He cried and said it was a “dream come true!” He loved to go camping with his family and on hog hunting trips with his son and best friends. He shot “Beast” who now adorns their living room wall.

Steven is survived by his wife of 19 years, Terresa; three sons, Gary Naylor and Patrick Naylor, both of Neosho, Missouri, and Levi Morgan of Aurora, Missouri; his father, Gary Harper, of Lanagan, Missouri; two sisters, Patricia Purdue and her husband, Mark, of Dolores, Colorado and Pamela Stone and her husband, Matt, of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother, Kirk Harper, of Pittsburg, Kansas; his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Barbara Porter of Aurora, Missouri and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
