Samantha Kay Causby was born on March 3, 1980, in Joplin, Missouri, and passed away on May 25, 2023 in her home in Reeds after a lengthy illness. A spirited and captivating individual, Samantha spent 43 years living in Reeds, Missouri, making a lasting impact on those who knew her. Her unique qualities and accomplishments were a testament to her incredible determination and devotion to her passions.

A talented truck driver by trade, Samantha spent 13 memorable years working for a transportation company. She went by the handles "Miss Kay" and "Little Foot" during her time on the road, gaining recognition and respect from her fellow drivers. Her love for truck driving was not just a job, but a hobby that brought her immense joy and satisfaction. 

Samantha's life was greatly enriched by her children, Jessica and Ryan, who meant the world to her. Her dedication to her family and her career showcased her strong and loving nature.

Samantha is survived by her mother, Patty Causby; her daughter, Jessica Causby; her son, Ryan O'Hair; and her uncles, Henry and Chester Pendergraft. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Causby. A graveside service will be held 11am on Thursday, June 1st at Park Cemetery, located at 801 South Baker Boulevard, Carthage, Missouri, 64836.
