(From Ferry Funeral Home)Richard Eugene Mosley, 83, formerly of Lamar, MO, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at his home in Nevada, MO. Richard was born December 10, 1939 in Omega, KS to George W. and Delka O. (Bills) Mosley.
On November 23, 1994 he married Connie Hare and she survives of the home.
Richard spent most of his childhood in Dayton, MO, and Garden City, MO. Throughout his life he worked at various jobs including O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar for 17 years, General Motors in Kansas City for 14, years, he lived in Montana and worked at the State Hospital for five years, he moved to Texas and worked at Horseshoe Bay Resort, and the State Park for an additional five years until his retirement. Richard moved to Nevada in 2022.
In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by seven children: Jimmie Mosley (Sherrie), Bakersville, NC, Tom Morgan (Renee), Kingsbad, TX, Donnie Mosley (Brenda), Rhonda Mosley, Exeter, MO, Tina Mosley, Serena Mosley, Bob Mosley (Maryette), Lewistown, MT; numerous grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
