Eddie Nelson Charles, age 82, of La Russell, Missouri, passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his home. He was born July 26, 1941, in Red Oak, Missouri, the son of the late Victor Bailey and Dora Lucinda (Nelson) Charles.

Eddie was a 1960 graduate of Miller High School in Miller, Missouri, and was a cattle farmer.

On June 5, 1964, he married Evelyn Sue Stockton in Miller, Missouri.

Eddie is survived by is wife of 59 years, Sue; one son, Bryan Charles and his wife, Crystal, of La Russell, Missouri; one daughter, Melissa Bradley and her husband, Larry, of Miller, Missouri; six grandchildren, Tasha and Tayla Charles, of Carthage, Missouri, Natalley and Nelson Charles of Miller, Missouri, Evan Bradley and Ruth Bryant, and their daughter, Paisley of Springfield, Missouri and Jordan Bradley of Miller, Missouri, and one sister, Vicki Charles of Red Oak, Missouri.

A graveside service, under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Red Oak Cemetery, west of Miller. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
