(From Parker Mortuary)Deborah Diane Martineau, age 69 of Carthage, Missouri, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at National Health Care in Joplin, following several months of ill health.
Deborah was born June 15, 1954 in Crosbyton, Texas to the late Donald and Carolyn (Stewart) Huckaby. After attending nursing classes, she settled in as a homemaker for her husband and two girls. Deborah married Ralph Martineau on June 10, 1980 and after 41 years of marriage, Ralph passed in June of 2021.
Surviving Deborah includes two daughters, Ember Martineau of Overland Park, Kansas and Cassandra Martineau of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Liam, Coen and Hayden; brother, Steve Huckaby of Greenbriar, Arkansas; sister, Cyndi Huckaby of North Carolina; extended nieces, nephews and many friends.
There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
