Rhonda Boyd

Rhonda Darlene Boyd, 63, Joplin, Missouri, passed away on February 17, 2024. She was born on December 14, 1960, in Joplin, to the late Gerald and Beverly (Schade) Payton.

Rhonda grew up in Neosho, Missouri. She enjoyed camping and animals. But above all, her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren. Her love for her grandchildren was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with them.






She is survived by her children, Shaun Asbell and Tony Asbell; her stepchildren, Jeremy Boyd, Jasmine Barnett, and Michelle; and her grandchildren, Khloe, Nicholas, Cheyenne, Jayden, Logan, Kaylee, and Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman "Skip" Boyd, Jr.; and children, Jeremy Asbell and Heather Asbell.

Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
