(From Parker Mortuary)Charlotte Ann Terry, age 92, of Joplin Missouri, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024.
Charlotte was born on January 30th, 1932, in Albany, Missouri to Lester Steele and Lena (Collins) Steele. She was united in marriage to Travis Terry on February 29, 1948. They were married 66 years until his passing on December 10th, 2014.
Charlotte loved her family and prayed over them continually. Her hugs gave warmth and comfort. Her smile was contagious, she was always quick with a joke or a story.
Charlotte enjoyed celebrating life’s milestones by baking for her family and others and gathering her loved ones in her home. She loved spending time studying the Bible, singing hymns, quilting, sewing, gardening, visiting, and having a cup of tea. Charlotte devoted her life to the Lord through prayer and service. She served her church as a pastor’s wife, Sunday School teacher, and many other church roles and volunteer work. Her unwavering faith will continue to resonate within the hearts of those of us left behind as she left a legacy of love, service, and hospitality.
