(From Parker Mortuary)Jennifer Lynn Golden, age 55, of Joplin, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Jennifer was born on January 18, 1969 in Bakersfield, CA to the late union of Lonnie and Carolyn (Rainey) Wilson. She was a lifetime resident of the Joplin area and graduated from Joplin High School in 1987.
She married David Golden and together they were blessed with many years before his passing on April 22, 2016.
She worked as a laborer at the Saw Mill. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and drawing. Jennifer was an extremely selfless person, always looking to help someone in need. She loved spending time with her family and her loyal companions that she considered her kids.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Schaffer; and sister, Katrina Barnes.
Jennifer is survived by her three sons, Dakota Golden, Dalton Golden, Dayton Golden and wife, Bayle; daughter, Brooke Golden; one brother, Jason Wilson; three sisters, Meagen Pulley and husband, James, Tiffany Bettes and husband, Jason, and Christy Brewer; and grandsons, Dax and Easton.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Parker Mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until service time in Parker Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with pastor Dan Wermuth II officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
