(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Gail Marie Adams, 67, of Monett, MO, passed from this life to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 while at Countryside Care Center in Monett.
Gail was born on July 25, 1956 in Honolulu, HI, daughter of the late John Joseph Carney, Jr. and Loretta (Waldman) Carney. At a young age, Gail and her family moved to California where she graduated from San Marcos High School with the class of 1974. She worked for many years in retail sales as a Manager. She loved people, especially her grandkids and her daughters. She also loved the beach, going to the casino and playing cards.
Gail was preceded in death by the greatest love of her life, her husband Allan Adams.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Abby Myers and husband Michael, of Galena, KS and Samantha Myers and wife Rochell, of Joplin, MO; two brothers, Michael Carney and wife Dorothy, of Atchison, KS and John Carney and wife Salle, of Victorville, CA; one sister, Kelly Ann Golden and husband Ken, of Des Moines, IA; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; as well as she will be missed by her beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Gail’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
