(From Clark Funeral Home)It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Etrina Ioanis, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 47.
Etrina was born on April 17, 1977, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, to Remikio Augustine and Elwise (Ludrick) Augustine, both of whom preceded her in death. A devoted member of St. Canera Catholic Church, Etrina found joy in her faith and her role as a cantor, where her love for singing touched the hearts of many.
On September 21, 2024, Etrina married her loving husband, Romlus Ioanis, and they shared a beautiful, brief chapter of their lives together. She is survived by her husband, Romlus, and their five children: Deemaris Ioanis, Bridgette Ioanis, Memorie Ioanis, Troy Ioanis, and Roy Ioanis.
Etrina is also survived by her siblings: Ersila Augustine, Meriu Septy, Elsainer Olhadm, Pertolino Augustine, Selrino Augustine, and Ledsia Augustine. Her warm presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Canera Catholic Church, where Father Charles Dunn will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery.
Etrina’s love for her family, her faith, and her community will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and music, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
