(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jo Ann Wilson Glaze, 82, of Joplin, Missouri passed away at 7:04 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Solace House in Joplin, Missouri.
Jo Ann was born on July 11, 1942, in Maywood, California. She had resided most of her life in Arkansas and Missouri.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri.
She enjoyed spending time with her Grandkids and Great Grandkids, crocheting, cross stitching, cooking, sewing and was a Pre-School Sunday School Teacher for many years at her church.
She married Harold “Kelvin” Wilson on July 14, 1961, in Malvern, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1998. Then she married Jack Glaze in September 2002 in Joplin, Missouri and he survives.
Other survivors include, one son; William “Bill” Kelvin (Ashley E.) Wilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, three daughters; Paula Kay Wilson of Springdale, Arkansas, Mary Lynn (Troy Edward) Walton of Joplin, Missouri, Jennifer Ann (Vince Loffredo) Daggett of Tonganoxie, Kansas, two sisters; Anita Hill of Alma Kansas, Juanita Cone of Fort Smith, Arkansas, eight grandchildren; Matthew Davis Walton, Daniel Scott Walton, Adam Michael Walton, Leigha Paige (Patrick) McGriff, Travis Garrett Daggett, Tristan Kelvin Daggett, Lysira Nicole Kidd and Keenan Kelvin Wilson, three Great Grandchildren; Kendrick Zazz Walton, Kelvin Alexander McGriff and Mark Lee McGriff.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Royce and Mary Wilma Riggs Doggett.
There will be a visitation from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday, March 3, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, 3130 S Wall Ave., Joplin, Missouri 64804.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Solace House, 2425 Mina Ave., Joplin, MO 64804.
