Ruby Marlene (Ramer) Panyako, born on March 29, 1944, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 80 in Thornton, CO.
She is survived by her brothers Ron (Brenda) Ramer of Firestone, CO, Steve (Linda) Ramer of Aurora, CO, Eldon Ramer of Arvada, CO, Lester (Mary) Ramer of Seneca, MO, her son Thomas (Ashley) Panyako and grandson Thomas "Taz" Panyako of Arvada, CO, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her chosen family including daughter, Ana (Wicho) Zamora, granddaughter Rubymarie Zamora, and grandson Rosalino Zamora.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Amanda (Bontrager) Ramer, brothers, Larry Ramer and Jerry Ramer, and sisters, Stella Ramer and Marjorie (Ramer) Jacobs.
Ruby could light up any room and truly had the best sense of humor. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and person in general. She received a nursing degree from Hesston College and later went on to work as a psychiatric nurse at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center in Goshen, Indiana. Upon retiring, Ruby joined a majority of her family in Colorado.
Ruby was known for her love of puzzles and often framed her finished work. She also enjoyed sewing, bingo nights with her friends, and playing board games with her grandson.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a celebration of life coordinated by the family.
