Joe Cash

Joe Cash, 86, of Gravette, Arkansas passed away on February 23, 2025, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on July 25, 1938, in Neosho, Missouri to Mildred and Otis Cash.

He was raised in Noel, Missouri and graduated high school in 1956, where he went on to earn an associates degree from Crowder College.

He joined the Missouri National Guard in 1956 and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1958 serving 4.5 years and discharged in 1962.








Joe was an electric lineman for Central Power and Light for 2 years, Benton County Power and Light for 1.5 years, and Empire Electric Company for 25 years retiring as a line crew foreman

He was an avid fisherman; give him a fishing pole and he was on the lake all day. He loved traveling in the United States in his RV, spending warm winters in South Texas. He attended the Gravette Church of Christ. He was a member of the Jaycees for many years.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and brothers, Jack Skidmore and Dean Cash.






 

Joe is survived by his wife Sandra of 63 years; daughter, Sabrina Yoder and her husband, Chris Yoder of Katy, TX; granddaughter, Kaylee; grandson, Zachary; one sister, Betty Watson and husband, Bill Watson of Gravette; one brother, David Cash and wife, Debbie Cash of Cassville, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. He was surrounded by a loving community of friends and one special sidekick, his dog Mi Amigo.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date.
