(From Parker Mortuary)Justene DeAnne Womack, age 32 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, February 16, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer. Justene was born September 28, 1992 in Joplin to Marcia Gowing and Mark Fowler.
Justene grew up her entire life in the Joplin area attended church as a young kid at Faith Assembly of God. She later attended Forest Park Church where she was active in different ministries. Before her health declined, Justene worked for several different businesses in the area, mainly as a customer assistant with sales.
Her pride and joy were her three beautiful children, George, Gabriel and Genevieve Womack. Additionally, Justene is survived by her parents, Mark Fowler and Marcia Gowing, both of the Joplin area; Granna, Marquetta Gowing of Carl Junction; cousins, AshLee Aldridge and husband, Doug of Carthage and Allyssa Herrera and husband, Yael of Webb City, numerous friends that will cherish and miss her greatly.
Justene was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Gowing.
A memorial visitation is planned for Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
