(From Sisco Funeral Home)Carolyn Sue Ruede, 83, of Rogers AR went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 3, 2025 with her husband of 67 years, Charles 'Chuck' Ruede, and family by her side at Circle of Life Hospice in Rogers. She was born July 15, 1941, to Noman Jasper Nichols and Pearl Ethel Kropff at home at Granny's Branch in McDonald County, MO.
Carolyn was a homemaker who raised three beautiful daughters and took care of the farm. She loved to go on road trips and hike with her husband, initially with their three children in the old Chrysler, and later with their own camper in tow.
Later in life, the pair enjoyed driving country roads throughout the Ozarks, eating at diners and visiting the Little O/ Opry House in West Fork, Arkansas from time to time. Carolyn loved to cook, especially during the holidays with her family gathered around, and she kept an impeccably clean home. She was a faithful member of Bella Vista Baptist Church, serving many years in the prayer room as a prayer warrior and helping wherever she was needed in the church.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Charles Ruede of Rogers; sister Annabelle Banks of Washburn, MO; brother Noman Al ('Bud') Nichols of Jane, MO; three daughters Teresa Hoyt (Ken), of Harrison, AR, Jennifer Cox of Rogers, and Becky Franklin of Ozark, MO; along with nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, AR. A private family graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, April 12th, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 33, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Bella Vista Baptist Church.
