Jordan Brock

Jordan Isaac Brock, a vibrant soul known for his love of life and infectious energy, passed away on April 5, 2025, in his hometown of Joplin, Missouri. He was born on October 8, 2015, to Jonathan and Laken (Devins) Brock.

Jordan's passion for the Hulk, gorillas, and anything large and muscular, was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of his own strength and determination. He channeled this energy into working out, often impressing others with his dedication to fitness and his ability to show off his muscles with a playful pride. His outgoing nature made him a natural at entertaining, and he was always the life of the party.








A true people person, Jordan had the remarkable ability to connect with others. His caring and outgoing personality made him a beloved part of the family. He was known for his unwavering positivity, always finding the silver lining no matter the circumstance. Friends and family often remarked on how much Jordan resembled his dad, not just in appearance but in spirit as well.

Jordan's promise to take care of his mom forever was a testament to his loving and protective nature. His commitment to his loved ones was unwavering, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Jordan is survived by his siblings: Tyler, Carter, Devin, Logan, and Laena; grandparents: Melissa Brock (Christopher Pinkston), Keith Guest (Athena), and Tina Rainey; great-grandparents: Jon Hedge, Terry and Imogene Devins, Sharon and Eugene Guest; aunts and uncles: Mandy Brock, Matthew Brock, Joshua Brock (Pheobe Thränert), Sarah Willis (Spencer), Jason Bruey (Brie Mileo), Brandon Brock, Benjamin Brock, Andrew Hampton (Kristen Ide), and Destiny Hampton; great aunts and uncles: Terry Devins (Camy), Trevor Devins (Pam), Ginger Brock, and Monty Brock; cousins: Taylor Johnson, Alli Davis, Bella Sullivan, Brody Jones Rainey, Parker and E.J. Mileo, Finnley Willis, Oliver Cash, and Brooks Bruey; his best friend: Isaiah Ajayi; and several other extended family members.







Jordan was preceded in death by his grandmother: Teisha Devins; great grandparents: Teresa Hedge, Vera Beard, Bill Smith, Don and Juanita Rector; aunts and uncles: Joe Rainey, Troy and Teresa Mondt.

The family invites friends out for a time of visitation on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Thornhill Dillon Mortuary in Joplin, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jordan’s Final Expenses in care of the mortuary at 417-623-4321.

Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
