Violet Campbell

Violet Mae (Myers) Campbell was born on February 24, 1930, to Jesse and Oma (Woods) Myers. She passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 95. She married Truman Campbell on October 18, 1948. 

Violet was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College. She worked for the Greenfield Bank and the Ford Motor Company in Greenfield as their accountant for several years. Violet worked until she had her second child, then became a full-time homemaker. She was very involved in the raising of many of her grandchildren. 







Violet was blessed to have a long active life with excellent health until a fall a few years ago which injured a shoulder that required family to step in and help as she had helped them for so many years. She is remembered for her generous, giving spirit.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Toler (Wendell); Harvey Campbell (Tammy); Holly Robison (David); Melanie Cunningham; April Jones (Jerry); and Myra Rochwick (Frank). Grandchildren, Juli Pascoe, Shanna Slone, Whitney Bradford, Whitney Forst, Jordan Sheat, Shantel Green, Mariah Nelson, Tori Beasley, Vince Robison, Katie Robison, Brandee Guiheen, Jenna Yost, Amy Gulick, Ashley Lambeth, Cassidy Block, Dalton Jones, and Madison Fretwell. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held at 10:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before the memorial service to be held on Monday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. in the Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of South Greenfield or to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
