(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)Brian Groom, 61, of Aurora passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 in his home. He was born September 27, 1964 in Denver CO., the son of Jack and Helen (Jennings) Groom. He was a supervisor for Lowe's.
Survivors include his wife, Cherry; two sons, David Groom of Cassville, MO. and Daniel Groom of Springfield, MO.; two daughters, Kelly Clayton and husband, Stephen of Aurora, MO. and Rachel Cargile and husband, Kody of Verona, MO.; one brother, Chad Groom of Florida; and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Groom.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Freedom 4one, 35 W. Olive St., Aurora, MO.
Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
