Steven Quade

Steven Ray Quade Sr., 83, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Cox Hospital in Branson, Missouri. Born on July 12, 1942, to F.R. and Margaret (Fritz) Quade in Hoberg, Missouri, Mr. Quade graduated from Verona High School in 1960 and subsequently enlisted in the United States Navy and served our country for 28 years. 

On July 10, 1964, he married Wilma, with whom he shared his life with until her passing on July 7, 2021.








Throughout his career, Steven dedicated many years to working on boats, where he demonstrated his expertise and passion for maritime craftsmanship. He was an avid fisherman, frequently spending time on the water pursuing his love of angling. In addition to his professional and recreational interests, Steven was deeply involved in ham radio, actively participating in the community and connecting with fellow enthusiasts across the country. His commitment to these pursuits reflected both his technical skill and his enjoyment of building relationships through shared hobbies.

Survivors include, one son, Steve Quade Jr. of Shell Knob, Missouri; one grandson, Alex Stoica of Montgomery, Alabama; two sisters, Ilene Gipson of Concord, Massachusetts, and Susan Arnold of Thayer, Missouri; and one brother Tony Quade of Carthage, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
