(From White Funeral Home)Leslie Gryder Sr., aged 72, of Golden, Missouri, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Born on November 18, 1953, in Watsonville, California, Leslie was the son of Maurice and Opal (Cox) Gryder.
Throughout his life, Leslie was recognized for his passion for woodworking and his appreciation for spending time outdoors. He dedicated countless hours to working with log mills, a testament to his skill and craftsmanship. Leslie was also known for his fondness for coffee, often enjoying a cup while surrounded by the natural beauty he cherished.
Leslie is survived by his three sons: Les Gryder Jr. of Cassville, Missouri; John Farris of Cassville, Missouri; and Joey Farris of Aurora, Missouri. He leaves behind 26 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one brother, Dale Gryder of Mount Vernon, Missouri, and two sisters, Christine Gryder of Marionville, Missouri, and Kathy Gryder of Nevada, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, two brothers and his stepson, Jamie Farris.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm at White Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Donnie Spears officiating, a visitation will be held two hours prior to service.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
