Mary Tice

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Mary Rexine Tice, born February 14, 1942, in Kellogg, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2025.

Mary was the daughter of Rex Raymond MacAnally and Katherine Noonan.

On October 16, 1961, she married Lester Perry Tice. They shared a deep bond and were truly best friends—“two peas in a pod,” as their son lovingly described. They did everything together until Lester’s passing on March 11, 2010.

Mary worked as a phlebotomist at BioLife Plasma. She was a simple woman who loved well until the end of her life.

She was a member of St. Canera Catholic Church in Neosho, Missouri.

Mary enjoyed a good shopping trip and was a wonderful cook, especially known for her Mexican food. Above all else, she loved her family—they meant everything to her. She especially cherished her grandchildren and took great pride and joy in being a grandmother, having raised two of them.

She is survived by her children, Denise Schuster of Joplin, Missouri, and Brian (Tresha) Tice of Joplin, Missouri; her sister, Susan (Bob) Hodge of Montana; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Lester Perry Tice; and her son, Perry Tice.
