(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Syerra Conklin, age 57, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 28th surrounded by loved ones.
Syerra was born on July 7, 1968, in Brookings, South Dakota, to Tex (James) and Elaine Lewis. She grew up in a Christian home alongside three siblings.
She was known for her quick wit and willingness to serve others. Her many years as a caterer at Cloud's Meats provided the perfect platform for her to love on others. Syerra was a blessing to those around her and was happiest when serving family, friends, and her community.
Syerra was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Shayne Conklin; her daughters, Ashley Arnold and Rachel Trenberth; her brother, Mark Lewis; her sister, Sheri Madill; five beloved grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tex and Elaine Lewis, and her sister, Priscilla Monroe.
A family-held memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 3, at The Bridge - 800 S. Main in Carthage, MO. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Syerra’s life, love, and legacy.
