(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Duard Garren Jay, age 80, of Neosho, Missouri, a cherished husband and dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, Poppie, finished his race and entered into eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, May 5, 2026.
Duard Garren Jay was born July 1, 1945 the son of Duward and Esther (Moore) Jay, in Newton County, Missouri. He enjoyed studying the Bible, playing the guitar, old cars, motorcycles and his computers. Duard worked as a Computer Technician for the McDonald County High School. Duard was a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, Missouri Teachers Association and The Gathering Tabernacle in Rocky Comfort, Missouri and the Church of Christ.
Duard G. Jay married Jeanna Charlene Dickens October 15, 1993 in Neosho, Missouri and she survives.
Additional survivors include his children; Shelly Sinnell of Florida, Karen Wilson of Oklahoma and Sarah Goostree of Missouri; One sister; Eunice Mullen and husband Mike of Oklahoma; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duward and Esther Jay, sons; Brian Jay and Paul Shearer; siblings; Jimmy Jay, Mary Allen and Teddy Moore; mother-in-law Leta Moore.
Duard knew faith in God was important. He not only had faith for himself, but also for others. Duard fought the good fight, he kept the course, he has finished the race and kept the faith. We are assured that when he entered eternal life, his Lord and Savior said, well done my good and faithful servant enter in.
The family will be hold a celebration of life graveside service at the New Salem Cemetery west of Neosho, at 3:00pm, Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
