Burl Richardson

Burl Leon Richardson Jr, age 68 passed away suddenly February 2, 2022 at his home.

Burl was born October 18,1953 in Joplin, Missouri. His parents were Burl L and Marion (Windecker) Richardson. Burl had lived in Galena most of his life.

He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as a welder and a roofer. His favorite pastimes were riding motorcycles, watching old cowboy westerns, and collecting knives.

Burl was married to Tammy Sue Crandall on June 8, 2019 in Galena. She survives.

Additional survivors include one son, Daniel LaMarr (wife, Jessica), Galena; two daughters, Stormy Anderson, Baxter Springs, KS and Beryl Richardson, Galena; two brothers, Andy Richardson and Tony Richardson, both of Joplin; one sister Susan Hayes, Galena; and six grandchildren, Brooklynn LaMarr, Raiden LaMarr, Acelynn LaMarr, Jasper Anderson, Violet Anderson, and Jaxon Anderson.

Burl was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
