Kenneth Bray

Kenneth Clare Bray, 96, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Kenneth was born on July 9, 1925, in Greenfield, Iowa to Clarence D. Bray and Anna A. “Wright” Bray. 

Kenneth was a resident of Wichita, Kansas for over 30 years. While living in Wichita, he worked for Cessna Aircraft where he retired from and he owned a business laying hardwood floors. Kenneth was a decorated Navy Veteran who fought and survived 11 different major engagements.







Kenneth was united in marriage to Juanita Pearl Willis in Carthage, Missouri, in 1942; she preceded him in death in 1989.

He is survived by three sons, Benny Bray (Ann) of Paola, Kansas, Gary Bray (Cathy) of Riverside, California, and Ronnie Bray (Rene) of Turner, Oregon; one daughter Nancy A Johnson (Jerry) of Eagle Rock, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Bray; one grandson, Cory S. Bray; three step-daughters, Sharon Haskins, Patsy Kissling, and Wanda Raydon; his parents, Clarence and Anna Bray; one brother, Clarence Donald Bray; and one sister, Kay Francis Smith.

Per Kenneth’s wishes, he will be cremated, and the family will hold a private family service at a later date.
