Ron McBride

Ranney E. "Ron" McBride, age 90, of Joplin, MO, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Ron was born on November 10, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA to the late William A. and Anne (Ranney) McBride. He served in the Army in Korea during the Korean War. Ron was a long-time resident of Hemet, CA before moving to Joplin in 2004.

He married the love of his life, Miss Carolyn Brister in 1952 and they celebrated 59 years together before her passing in 2011.

Ron is survived by his three daughters; Karen Moore and Marilyn Schumer, both of Mt. Pleasant, MI, and Melinda Friel of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Henry Marsch of LA, Joshua Friel and Jacob Friel both of MO, Justin Friel of CO, Heidi Eldred, Jason Schumer, and Katie Bates all of MI, and nine great-grandchildren.

Ron is to be cremated and no public services are planned at this time.
