(From Clark Funeral Home)Teresa Loncarich, age 55, of Neosho Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14th, 2022. “Tweety” was born April 1st, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Shirley and Jerry Price.
She married Anthony “Tony” Loncarich in April 1994, who preceded her in death in 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Mark Gaughan and Steven Kloss; one sister, Shelley Duncan; and her life partner, Harley Minnier.
She is survived by her five children, Holly Loncarich and Marcus Mahaffey of Manhattan, Kansas, Cheyenne Loncarich and Joel Mace of Goodman Missouri, Winona Loncarich of Joplin, Missouri, Dorothy Smith of the home and Allen Smith of the home. Also surviving are two sisters, Lisa Ramirez and her husband Danny of Round Rock, Texas, Patti Ethridge of Boliver, Missouri; two brothers David Gaughan of San Diego, California and Danny Gaughan and his wife Sharon of Vancouver, Washington.
Tweety was a life-long resident of Fairview, Missouri, and graduated from East Newton High School. After high school graduation, she lived out her free spirit days in California before coming home to Missouri where she met and married Tony Loncarich. Following the death of Tony, Tweety and her children moved back to Fairview down the block from her parents. From the moment she was blessed with her children, they became her sole focus in life. She was an amazing mother. In 2008 she met her life partner, Harley Minnier, and they spent twelve years together.
Tweety loved spending time with her children above all else and you could often find her nearly every weekend fishing and camping with her kids. She instilled this love for the outdoors in all of her children. She was a master campfire chef - all she needed was a cast iron pot to create a Michelin star dining experience.
Tweet was also a steward for all things furred and feathered. People who knew her would not have been surprised at all to find a sick chicken or even an orphaned skunk in her care – a trait that she certainly passed along to her children. Visitors could not be faulted for mistaking Tweety’s living room for a botanical garden. At one point, her children lost count of the vast number of potted plants that had overflowed out of her living room into her kitchen.
Tweety will be deeply missed by everyone she has left behind. Our hearts are broken but we know that she has instilled a part of herself in all of her children and those who loved her.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Monday, February 21st. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Clark’s Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri with graveside services to follow at Dice Cemetery in Fairview, Missouri.
