Mike Lesher

Mr. Michael Edward “Mike” Lesher, 53, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, departed this life suddenly on Friday, February 11, 2022, at his residence after suffering a massive heart attack.

Mike entered this life on November 13, 1968, in Atchison, Kansas, son of Teddy Arthur and Dorothy Ann (Wohletz) Lesher. He was raised in Atchison and was a 1987 graduate of Maur Hill Academy. He furthered his education by receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in 1992. 







On August 1, 1992, he was united in marriage to Schonna Gann and to this union a son and daughter were born, Zachary and Devon. Mike was an Analyst throughout his life and was currently employed by Boston Scientific. Prior to his career with Boston Scientific, he worked for Zebra Technologies, Johnson & Johnson and ConAgra. He enjoyed being outdoors, either fishing or building bonfires. Mike was very generous and hospitable with a great sense of humor. Mike was a faithful member of Canvas Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Amy Lesher.

Mike is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Schonna Lesher of the home; two children, Zachary Lesher of Joplin, Missouri and Devon Lesher of Bentonville, Arkansas; his mother, Dorothy Lesher of Kansas City, Missouri; a brother, David Lesher of Oak Grove, Missouri; three sisters, Debbie Bellmann of Kansas City, Missouri, Sandra Herdler of Kearney, Missouri and Diane Stanton of Omaha, Nebraska; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, February 17, 2022, at Canvas Church (1106 NW 10th Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712) with Pastor Bill Burchit officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the church. Memorials are being directed to the college fund of Zachary and Devon, c/o the funeral home.
